Resumen
Through a bibliographic review on Julio Cortázar’s literary and critical work, along with the other academic texts pertinent to the author’s work, the concept of figures is established as an example in the comprehension and composition of the poetic image within the dramaturgic text. The positions of the Argentinian author are examined regarding to the value of word as an evocative input. Such views are emphasized by cuts from its own narrative, setting a collage of intratextual references that allow for the profiling of the concept of figures. An analysis of three of these figures (the bridge, the windows, and the key) in the composition of instances that sensibly connect the viewer (witness) with what is disclosed on stage is examined. Furthermore, from the standpoint of our research, a comment is made on three of Heiner Müller's dramaturgical pieces in the hopes of establishing a connection between his work, Cortzarean musings, and unraveling the linkages that link Müller's work to the post-dramatic theater movement.
