Resumen
The present document is a proyective research from a qualitative and interpretative approach, whose general objective is to contribute to improve in the process of teaching-learning about heat by means of a didactic sequence mediated by applet, which seeks to investigate the representations that students of tenth grade of the school IED Villa Rica, have elaborated on the Heat. The representations of students arise from the application of the didactic sequence that was designed and validated from the choice of a series of applets, through instruments of discipline and technological characterization, the representations resulted from the analysis of five categories: temperature, changes of state, dilation and heat and energy propagation, the transcription of the application of the Didactic sequence was written in the Maxqda software, in the analysis performed were found two emergent categories and as a result of this were found four different representations, nature and propagation of heat, physical and chemical changes, heat as a source of life, and heat as cause of destruction.
