This document presents the project entitled: Regional urban planning for Bogota D.C. from the analysis of environmental determinants and with the use of mapping, and the surrounding municipalities, an instrument that will support the formulation of the POT of Bogotá DC, in matters of the main ecological structure EEP, since there is currently a population increase due to different Social and economic factors that are experienced at the national level, which generates environmental problems such as the change in land use, that is, the agricultural soils of the department of Cundinamarca have currently been destined for housing construction. Taking into account the figures of the IGAC, 63.2% of the soils of the Sabana have a bad use, thus generating problems of supply of agricultural products that directly affect the food security of the capital. The project will have as its axis the articulation of environmental determinants and the use of available cartography in environmental matters, to contrast the information and present a guideline that serves for regional urban planning in environmental matters and productive systems, by calculating some indices taking into account the statistical analysis methodology that can provide the information that is consulted, it is intended to establish some sustainable management scenarios. It also includes the methodological procedure that consists of three phases which allow an analysis from the national context to a regional approach with the purpose of formulating land use planning guidelines for this area, as well as a schedule detailing each of the phases.
