Abstract

This document includes a bibliographic review of the history, operation and applications of the hovercraft, as well as the elements that compose it. For the use of transporting people to places of difficult access, or in areas with geographical characteristics, poor roads, and lack of means of transport. Since in Colombia it is known that the subject is not well known, therefore it is given the beginning of the exploration of this and a first approach to the content. Against this, it will be taken into account that the hovercraft will have a maximum weight of 400 Kg and dimensions of 1.50 meters wide by a length of 3 meters and a 0.6 meters high, and have an integrated propulsion and suspension system regardless, there will be an airplane propeller and an axial fan with a honda brand independent drive motor
