Resumen
This document describes some aspects in relation to a research aimed at studying the intercultural approach in the initial training of science teachers, taking into account the concepts present in the curricular proposals of the degree programs in science and the science teachers in Initial training linked to professional teaching practice. As an introduction some conceptual elements that support the research are presented, the methodological design is emerging and follows a qualitative approach that takes into account the epistemology of the known subject and the epistemology of the knowing subject (Vasilachis, 2013), in the methodology described in detail some methodological elements emphasizing triangulation. As part of the results, some aspects of the state of the art and the conceptual context of the research are presented; as well as a general description of the results in construction process. Finally, some conclusions are proposed to show the importance of considering the intercultural approach in science teacher training programs and the need to develop research that addresses this topic
