UNA PROPUESTA DE NARRATIVA TRANSMEDIA PARA EL BUEN VIVIR DESDE EL SUR GLOBAL SOBRE LA TINGÜA.

Abstract

The current work is being carried out within the context of a research-creation project for the Master's thesis in Communication-Education. Presently, the impact of Climate Change on a global scale is undeniable, evidenced by rising temperatures, extreme weather events like heavy rains and hurricanes, and the dramatic loss of living ecosystems. This situation is exacerbated by the strengthening of the neoliberal model, which not only exploits and destroys nature but also undermines basic rights, such as access to a dignified life. On the other hand, there has been a significant growth in ecological movements in different territories, both in the Global North and the Global South. Specifically, civil society, focus on young people, have emerged as a social movement advocating for the protection of living ecosystems and calling for a change in the current economic model, which relies on excessive exploitation of natural resources. In this regard, the aim is to address the question of how to promote the care of the territory, foster connections with others from a perspective based on the 'Buen Vivir' concept from the Global South, through the creation of a transmedia narrative proposal on the TikTok platform. There is an underlying tension between the urgency of protecting the environment due to the imminent extinction of flora and fauna species, as well as the threat to humans on Earth, and the sometimes naive view that considers technological development as a form of leadership and a possible solution to these problems.
