Abstract

This research has been carried out with the main objective of designing intervention strategies in the company CAPITAL DISTRICT to maintain and preserve the protection of its workers against the use of chemical liquids and pesticides. As well as the correct application of these in public health; products used for the execution and fulfillment of their work of integrated pest control. Many of the pesticides used can produce intoxications and effects on those who handle them when they are applied. However, this depends on the type of pesticides used, since many of them can cause long-term effects such as occupational diseases or problems to the community that takes this mandatory service, if they are not handled properly and on time, they could lead directly to the person involved to acquire poisoning, intoxication, among other different pathologies affecting fundamental organs such as skin, lungs, brain and respiratory tract. A quantitative and qualitative research is carried out focusing on the protocols established within the company for the operating sector verifying how workers use the industrial safety resources, training, training among others, provided by the company and checking whether or not workers have the knowledge of these, initially using the instruments of observation and collection of information; then propose the strategic plan of intervention for the company that will allow it to have the control and proper handling of the products used avoiding incidents in the provision of services in the application in public health and occupational accidents that can cause future illness or death as a result.
