Resumen
The present research project aims to know the social representations that teachers have about childhood, school and pedagogical practice in a female school in the south of Bogotá. In the project social representations are assumed as the knowledge that starts in common sense, this type of knowledge get transform by particular interactions with the environment, it is a theory that allows understand a way of conceiving reality with the proceeding ways of individuals. For the collection and analysis of information, social representations works with the multi-methodological principle, that is, the participation of several methodologies if is necessary; semi-structured interviews and focus groups are used as techniques. In the results you can see the core of each representation and its peripheral elements.
