Resumen
Technological advances and the development of manufacturing processes for electrical and electronic consumer products have resulted in a significant increase in the generation of special waste by consumers, especially those related to household appliances. Unfortunately, these wastes often mix with the normal waste stream, making their proper treatment and disposal difficult. In Colombia, there is uncertainty regarding the monitoring chain of this waste, which makes the implementation of essential principles within integrated waste management imperative. To address this challenge, it is essential that parties voluntarily establish a robust and comprehensive waste management system that includes efficient tracking and treatment methods. This action will not only contribute to environmental sustainability but will also encourage responsible behavior on the part of consumers. It is essential to stay informed about the proper management of electrical and electronic waste to protect our planet for future generations. In a context where the proliferation of electronic devices is constant, the proper management of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) has become a highly relevant environmental and social concern. This business plan addresses the need to establish a WEEE transportation and delivery service to collection centers in urban areas to address this problem. The main objective of this plan is to evaluate the viability of implementing a WEEE transportation and delivery service to collection centers in urban environments, considering both environmental and economic aspects. The aim is to provide an efficient solution for the management of WEEE, reducing its negative impact on the environment and generating commercial opportunities.
