Resumen
This work presents an analysis of the process of integrating quality into the project management of the initiative “Design and Dissemination of the Enterprise Architecture of Fiduprevisora within the TOGAF Framework and the Colombian Government Enterprise Architecture Reference Model (MRAE)”, aimed at promoting continuous improvement in processes and ensuring successful project outcomes. Throughout the document, project quality is examined from a managerial perspective, emphasizing agile and accurate decision-making based on comprehensive information and supported by PMI best practices, with the purpose of identifying and addressing issues in a timely manner. The methodology applied is a theoretical and descriptive case study, for which a documentary review of specialized literature was conducted, linking diverse concepts to analyze the process of quality integration in project management. The results indicate that quality is not an isolated element, but rather an integral, structuring, and transversal component in project management, and therefore in the enterprise architecture of the case under study. This leads to higher levels of efficiency, ensuring timely deliveries within scope and assigned resources, while maintaining a satisfactory level of quality for all stakeholders. It also contributes to risk reduction and fosters continuous improvement, thereby enhancing project success. Finally, the ongoing analysis of the quality process in this case study ensures that outcomes are of high quality, which positively impacts customer satisfaction and the organization’s image, while also serving as a foundation for future successful studies.
