Resumen
The present report exposes the compilation of information about some pedagogical processes for the training in forest fire prevention, together with theoretical concepts necessary to complement and base the object of the same and corresponds to the product of an internship subscribed between the Francisco José District University of Caldas and CAR Cundinamarca. In order to obtain a qualitative analysis and recommendations that contribute to improving the training process for the prevention of forest fires in the CAR jurisdiction, the main training processes of other territories, which are Colombia, Chile and the United States, were reviewed. and they were compared through the analysis of certain variables, among which is, to whom it is addressed, duration of training, certification, level of application and the methodology used for its development. In the international framework Sendai 2015 - 2030, some important guidelines are established for disaster risk management, which contemplate risk as a first step, which is a fundamental issue in this report and a starting point for the importance of training in forest fire prevention. The training, not only oriented to the detection and combat of forest fires, to the operative part and response; but to the inclusion of prevention in the teaching and learning processes in the different expressions of education and depending on the scenarios in which it should be applied, in order to guarantee the security of a territory and the reduction of its vulnerability to to the different risks.
