Resumen
The crude extraction plants have self-supporting structures called SKIDS, capable of integrating high-energy electrical and electronic equipment destined for end use in one place. The purpose of the container to be studied is to control the speed of the motor. For this task, the SKID is made up of a SUT step-up transformer, a sine filter, an LC filter, a VFD frequency variator, and a speed variator. Varying the frequency in an oil extraction plant generates energy savings and improves the process in operations. Therefore, the presence of failures in the speed variation system generates significant impacts on reliability and productivity. The purpose of this study is to find and analyze the origin of the faults present in the equipment that makes up the system, giving an optimal and lasting solution.
