Resumen
Generally, construction projects are not executed according to plan, generating changes in the scope, budget and timeframe foreseen for their execution due to errors either in the respective plan or due to lack of control at the time of execution. The above reflects the importance of having in the companies highly trained personnel with attitudes that allow them to make decisions throughout the project life cycle and that these are not generated only from the head of the project manager. The training of personnel is not always productive, since the existence of such extensive support materials makes it more difficult to understand the objective and people do not have enough time to learn. This project presents a prototype application available for Android that allows the dissemination of good practices in project management, developed based on e-learning tools. It contains information about PMBOK sixth and seventh edition, PRINCE2 and ISO 21500, global approaches to project management. Moreover, it is specific in 2 fundamental topics in the execution and planning of construction projects such as schedule management and cost management. Education through Information Technology allows the learner to choose the place and time to study, as well as the pace of study. The prototype application called "UD Project Management" is designed in such a way that the user can navigate autonomously through the different scenarios developed, allowing a simpler and more complete understanding of the educational process and thus contributing to the effective and efficient development of construction projects. The proposed teaching methodology for learning project management promotes the national intellectual capital, since it can be used in companies within the training program of the human resources area, increasing the capacity of human capital and contributing to the generation of value for the organization; it can also be used as support during the academic process by teachers and students at all levels (university, specializations, masters, doctorate) through modern information technologies, raising the quality of training of students and thus their integration into the labor market.
