Resumen
The silvery-brown tamarin monkey, Saguinus leucopus (Günther, 1877), is an endemic species to Colombia and is considered vulnerable by the IUCN, as well as being listed in Appendix I of CITES. Its natural range is concentrated in the lower part of the Cauca river basin and the middle Magdalena valley. This species presents a high plasticity in the use of resources and behaviors. In spite of this, there are still big gaps in ecological and ethological aspects that allow us to understand the relationship of this species with its environment. For this reason, we analyzed the variation and influence of ecological factors related to behavior, rest and feeding in the use of a group of gray tití within the area of influence of the hydroelectric Porce III (Department of Antioquia, Colombia) for 5 months. It was evidenced by Pearson's correlation and analysis of variance that the variables related to the activity rate, fruit feeding and roosts present variations during the study in relation to environmental factors such as the precipitation regime and the range of daylight, presenting a relation in the group's home environment. However, the use of space seems to be responding to other factors, possibly aspects such as population densities, interspecific competition and environmental variations may be related.
