Abstract

The document presents the analysis of six appropriate technologies for the treatment of gray wastewater, which met the condition of reuse, through the implementation of a technology selection methodology. Taking into account the most important characteristics of the selected technology, and criteria such as the characterization of gray wastewater, the parameters required in Resolution 1207 of 2014 about uses of treated water, and the criteria established in the selection and assessment methodology implemented , the design of a gray water treatment system was proposed, for its subsequent reuse in activities that do not require potable water, such as the flushing of toilets, irrigation and cleaning.
