Resumen
The State, through the guarantees and benefits granted in Law 1715 of 2014, intends to promote the use of non-conventional sources of renewable energy, for the generation of electricity, allowing all users who decide to self-generate their own electricity to obtain tax benefits. and additionally, they can sell their surplus energy to the distribution network. The above opens the gateway to a new market, the present work aims to be an application guide for small-scale self-generation projects based on photovoltaic solar energy. It is intended to start by knowing the energy needs, solar radiation index (it depends directly on the geographical location), available area of installation and availability of the connection point to the grid operator's electrical network, to do the technical study and design the system Photovoltaic to be implemented in a specific site. For this case it is intended to generate an Excel application that allows, through the entry of basic data on energy consumption and solar radiation index, to obtain as a result the capacity of the system to be installed, the amount of solar panels to be used and an estimate of the cost, then describe and explain the procedure for registering such projects with the relevant institutions and carry out the study of economic incentives, which includes aspects already regulated for obtaining tax benefits and the sale of energy surpluses as small-scale self-generators . Finally, in this document you will find the basic information for the study and execution of a small-scale photovoltaic solar energy project, evaluating its economic viability based on the tax benefits stipulated in Law 1715 of 2014. In addition to this, a type case study that validates the functionality of the implementation guide and the application in Excel to assess the feasibility and development of the same.
