Competencias de los profesionales en archivística y gestión de la Información Digital frente a la inteligencia artificial

Abstract

As it is known, Archival Science is a discipline closely tied to the passage of time and the social and technological changes that surround it. With the development of artificial intelligence and the automation of operational processes in both governmental and non-governmental entities, it is crucial to now, more than ever, consider the competencies and skills to be developed in the archival field regarding the proper use of these new tools in the profession's study axis: the lifecycle of documents and the appropriate access to information over time. This undergraduate thesis aims to analyze and propose the competencies and skills that professionals in Archival Science and Digital Information Management should develop in response to artificial intelligence and its integration within the professional field.
