Resumen
This work consists of proposing new tools to improve the teaching process, which facilitate the transmission of knowledge with the implementation of new technologies that are already available or available to society, especially in the student community at different levels of academic education, via the internet, all this due to the deficiency in conventional teaching processes, in order to overcome the existing barrier between the conventional teaching process and the implementation of the new technologies is presented as a proposal for improvement in the teaching process through the implementation of virtual reality applying it in the project Technology curriculum in environmental sanitation of the District University Francisco José de Caldas to students of first income. Currently there are different didactic tools used to improve teaching processes, such as virtual, augmented and mixed reality virtual reality is a technological means that consists of dynamic simulation in which the user is introduced into an artificial world that perceives as real based on stimuli to the sensory organs.
