Resumen
This paper intends to evaluate the insertion of the curricular project of Environmental Administration of the Francisco José de Caldas District University in national and international academic contexts; That is, the evaluation of the performance obtained after the analysis and the self-evaluation of key aspects established by the model for the accreditation of high quality of the National Accreditation Council in Colombia. The policies and guidelines established by the institution of higher education are analyzed in detail and the academic program in terms of academic references for the updating of its curricula refers, in addition, existing agreements of academic cooperation with other institutions of higher education, as well as academic mobility on the part of its students and professors and the institutional support in terms of the budget destined for the internationalization of the academic program. The initiative to advance this work is based on the interest of students, teachers, managers and other actors, to accredit the curricular project of Environmental Administration as a high quality program in order to offer society the possibility of having professionals capable of facing the different challenges that arise every day. It is important to mention that it also seeks to exalt the role of the environmental administrator inside and outside the institution as one of the main promoters of environmental care.
