Diagnóstico del estado actual de las curvas de gasto de las estaciones hidrológicas del área operativa 11 del Instituto de Hidrología, Meteorología y Estudios Ambientales (IDEAM)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to diagnose the current state of the rating curves of the hydrological stations in Operational Area 11 of IDEAM. The aim is to assess the consistency and accuracy of hydrological data to identify anomalies and propose improvements in the generation of rating curves. The methodology includes the collection and review of primary data, georeferencing of stations, analysis of trends and errors in rating curves, and the implementation of corrective actions. Stations with significant inconsistencies have been identified, and the development of new rating curves is proposed where necessary. The expected results include a detailed evaluation of data quality, proposals to improve hydrological data management, and recommendations to strengthen the monitoring network in Operational Area 11.
