Análisis y actualización de la información geoespacial generada por el grupo de investigación y señalización de la dirección general marítima para la identificación de peligros y evaluación de riesgos a la navegación para la señalización de canales marítimos y fluviales

Abstract

The Maritime Signaling and Research Group (MSRG), together with the Oceanographic and Hydrographic Research Center (OHRC), are responsible for the supervision and geographic analysis of existing navigational aids in the colombian territory in order to provide a better service to the navigators by making decisions that allow a constant improvement of the transitability of any type of vessel that is in the maritime territory of the country. For this reason, new information belonging to this area is updated and added to the Geographical Information System of the General Maritime Directorate, in order to create geoservices that serve as tools for the analysis of information through ArcGIS online web applications.
