Abstract

This work emphasizes the relationship of speech with singing and provides the reader technical singing tools for improving the sung performance, from the colors resulting from the emotionality and the interpretation of the word. Identifying interpretative elements of the singer Andrea Echeverri Arias linking rock vocal elements to sociocultural factors, ideological and behavioral patterns (urban subcultures) adapted on the experiences of the singer by linking changes and possible transformations of the aesthetic standards, in order to investigate the active conscientious approach to musical performance, without ignoring how is taken foreign music and how these have affected the musical and cultural landscape of the interpreter.
