Resumen
This document describes the problem of phase balance in distribution systems, using mathematical optimization, by presenting the power flow method based on the upper triangular matrix in its three-phase version and optimization called whaling (WOA). To solve this model, the DigSILENT software is used in conjunction with the MATLAB tool as the program compiler, presenting the implementation of the radial distribution model of 8, 25 and 37 nodes. In addition, an explanation of the process is made to obtain the best solution to the phase imbalance in the different radial systems implemented and how is the process to reach said solution. IEEE 8, 25 and 37 node test systems are used to validate the proposed solution methodology; The results obtained through the WOA whaling optimization method were compared with other optimization methods applied to the phase balance problem, such as the reference method, CBGA and DVSA, in addition to the results obtained with the DigSILENT software for In each case, an analysis of the results obtained was carried out and from this process it was possible to obtain the comparative graphs of results that allow us to observe in more detail the behavior of each of the methods and the difference between them.
