Resumen
This study presents the preliminary results from the first year of evaluating the diversity of macrofungi at "La Franja" farm, Vianí, Cundinamarca. Twenty permanent plots were established to observe macrofungi in soil and organic matter substrates, with 40 morphotypes found in organic matter and 20 in soil. Specimens were collected, morphologically characterized, and recorded in a digital database along with photographic documentation. The results suggest that organic matter provides a more favorable environment for macrofungal diversity compared to soil. A field guide and an educational workshop for children were also designed to promote knowledge of macrofungi in the region. This study marks the beginning of a three-year project aimed at expanding the understanding of fungal diversity in the area.
