Resumen
The following research paper deals with the optimization for a logistics operation of distribution of consumer goods for an urban area in the city of Bogotá D. C. For this purpose, a mathematical model of the time-dependent vehicle routing problem is proposed, which is solved by means of a genetic algorithm, built for the solution of combinatorial optimization problems. This algorithm is configured with an Elitist selection strategy and an interchange procedure for permutations called Order Crossover (OX). Previously, a literature review about the problem of vehicle routing (VRP), and its variants, especially of VRP and its time dependence (TDVRP), was carried out. Likewise, the solution methods designed by the authors are presented and then an ordered summary is presented in a table.
