Educación superior inclusiva: procesos de utilización de un aula asistiva aplicada a la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas

Abstract

Since the beginning of the new millennium, the United Nations (UN) has sought and established principles and objectives to provide quality basic education to all children, youth and adults. In Latin America and the Caribbean it has been identified that one of the priority areas is the area of Equity, Quality and Inclusion in which the commitment is made to "address all forms of exclusion and discrimination, disparities and inequalities, in access and culmination of education and learning cycles, processes and results ". In this way it is necessary that higher education, and especially public education, ensure the integration of all people regardless of their diversity or some type of disability. The Ministry of Education is committed to generating educational attention to the population with special educational needs, promoting access and educational permanence with quality, based on an inclusive education-based approach. It is necessary that educational institutions, in this case higher education, generate policies, strategies and actions that favor inclusion, for this reason, projects should be developed that include the consolidation of physical and technological infrastructures to attend education in diverse contexts. inclusive In the case of the District University, research projects related to education have been carried out in contexts of diversity, as well as the incorporation of classrooms in the university context. With the incorporation of technology for Education in contexts of diversity, as well as the basic inputs for the identification of support technologies for people with special needs. This degree project; contributes in the way of consolidating the use and management of these spaces, it is necessary to design the operation model (information gathering, establish users, use manuals, procedures manuals), validation (verification instruments) and dissemination of its use.
