Resumen
This thesis proposes a method of teaching the accompaniment of the electric bass in the vallenato from a study of the determining components as to the history of this genre and its airs. Based on characteristics of musical theory that are part of the interpretation in this music and are not usually addressed with a methodological approach, such as harmonic and melodic elements, rhythmic and percussive, technical peculiarities in the execution of electric bass, among others ; in addition to the evolution of vallenato as musical genre, a pedagogical process is constructed that takes the method of learning by imitation as the main tool to build a formative system that can be used by bass players with a basic - intermediate level. Through the tool of the video tutorials will be approached educational and teaching aspects in line with the new technologies.
