| dc.description | “Colombia Vuela", un libro ilustrado que documenta la avifauna nativa de las regiones colombianas: Orinoquía, Amazonía, Andina, Pacífico y Caribe-Insular. Su objetivo es destacar cinco especies representativas de cada región mediante ilustraciones científicas detalladas y precisas, acompañadas de descripciones en un lenguaje accesible que enfatiza la singularidad biológica y la importancia ecológica de cada ave. Se emplearon técnicas de acuarela y lápices de color para las ilustraciones, garantizando una representación visual fiel y atractiva. La metodología incluyó la selección basada en criterios ecológicos y la recopilación de información de fuentes científicas y empíricas para asegurar la precisión de los contenidos. Este proyecto aspira a enriquecer el conocimiento ornitológico y promover la apreciación pública y la conservación de la biodiversidad aviar en Colombia, actuando como un puente entre la comunidad científica y el público general interesado en la naturaleza y la conservación ambiental. | |
| dc.description.abstract | “Colombia Vuela", an illustrated book that documents the native birdlife of the Colombian regions: Orinoquía, Amazonia, Andean, Pacific and Caribbean-Insular. Its objective is to highlight five representative species of each region through detailed and precise scientific illustrations, accompanied by descriptions in an accessible language that emphasizes the biological uniqueness and ecological importance of each bird. Watercolor and colored pencil techniques were used for the illustrations, guaranteeing a faithful and attractive visual representation. The methodology included selection based on ecological criteria and compilation. of information from scientific and empirical sources to ensure the accuracy of the contents. This project aims to enrich ornithological knowledge and promote public appreciation and conservation of avian biodiversity in Colombia, acting as a bridge between the scientific community and the general public. interested in nature and environmental conservation. | |
