Resumen
The present study aims to evaluate the impact of the socio-economic services offered by the Francisco José de Caldas District University on the students of the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources. To achieve this, impact research was conducted in four phases, and a survey was used as the data collection instrument. Additionally, a detailed literature review was performed using Scielo, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases, from which the relevant variables and data processing methodology were defined. A descriptive analysis of the collected data was carried out to understand its characteristics and trends. Subsequently, a correlation analysis was conducted in two phases, evaluating both the important factors in student satisfaction and the perception of the impact of socio-economic services by the study community, as well as the relationship between the variables studied. It was concluded that ease of application and promotion of the call for applications are fundamental factors in student satisfaction. Furthermore, the programs directly influence academic performance, as well as socio-economic aspects of the population such as marital status or family income. However, it was recommended to further investigate the causality of the variables for future research lines.
