Resumen
In Colombia, a country traversed by various conflicts that have permeated the social ethos and based on the discussions raised by the peace process between the national government and the FARC - EP, this research project sought to recognize how to promote Compassion as the Ethical-Moral motivation proposed by A. Schopenhauer, in the group of students from grade 801 JT of FDI Robert F. Kennedy through the approach of a peace chair focused on the concept of imperfect peace by Francisco Muñoz (2001) and emotional education from the perspectives of Mireya Vivas (2003) and Rafael Bisquerra (2003), implementing the investigative elements of the ethnographic method, which after a process of diagnosis, allowed the development of various experiential workshops on the central concepts raised and that included the production of school radio. This made it possible to make visible the need to overcome the dichotomous vision between cognitive and emotional training that generates serious obstacles for a comprehensive training of students at all school levels, including professional; allowed to make visible the need to promote positive emotions, especially compassion in the school environment in the search for the formation of a culture of peace that would permeate the entire social fabric and allowed to contribute elements for the formulation of the chair of peace at RFK school.
