Resumen
Given the problems of Cannabis sativa in relation to the school, it seems that this will be completely isolated from reality, responding not to the particular interests of students, educational programs but meaningless. Pretending then that students are competent against the problems of their reality was raised as an objective to contribute to the understanding of the physiology of Cannabis sativa, from an approach to complex thinking from the methodological strategy of Significant Problem-based learning (ABP). To do this, it was designed and implemented at the Villemar - El Carmen I.E.D. public school a didactic proposal with 34 students from the methodological strategy of meaningful learning based on problems from the model of ABP 4 X 4, which was formed 12 activities in which some principles of complex thinking proposed by Edgar Morin were developed and evaluated from a matrix of levels of complexity depending on the characteristics of each of the constructions of the students in solving a problem question, finding that the understanding of the physiology of cannabis from a complex vision contributes to making a responsible decision, being necessary participation of the family environment and community, urging relevant institutions to determine the need for mainstreaming this issue in the curriculum to address it transdisciplinary way.
