Abstract

The project titled 'Utilization of Solid Wood Waste MDF at Triplex and Tablex' addresses the issue of the accumulation of MDF wood waste in landfills, stemming from the material's cutting process. The primary objective is to repurpose this solid waste to create a new product, in this case, decorative frames, promoting a circular economy and reducing the company's environmental impact. The methodology employs a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach, utilizing a survey, production calculations, and product design. Potential expected outcomes include identifying consumer preferences, generating a new product from recycled waste, reducing the amount of solid waste sent to landfills, and fostering sustainable practices within Triplex and Tablex. The project aims to create an innovative and profitable product from MDF wood waste, which is currently not being utilized by the company.
