Resumen
In this monograph a bibliographic review will be done on the historical development and prospects of solid phase peptide synthesis, with emphasis on the different chemical processes that have led to the construction of peptide fragments and macromolecules, which have their applications in the industry Pharmaceutical, agribusiness and diagnostic methods.
The main objective of the monograph is to describe the researches done by different authors that contributed to the development of solid phase peptide synthesis, in the same way, to review and explain in detail the strategies proposed to carry out immersed chemical processes In obtaining the expected products. Finally investigate about the various types of application that peptides have in different industries.
Starting from the description made to the strategy proposed by Bruce Merrifield and going through the different works of authors who contributed in one way or another in the development of the subject, a count will be made, in which the most relevant contributions are presented in a detailed and concise manner As chemical processes, novel resins, protecting groups, macromolecule synthesis, purification methods, orthogonal protection, peptides as medicaments and chemical ligation.
