Abstract

The Cundinamarca Cadastral Agency, a qualified cadastral manager, needs the application of image analysis based on geographic objects to the extent that in the framework of implementation of the multipurpose cadastre and the update that the entity is currently carrying out for 25 municipalities of Cundinamarca, it enables the formulation of a methodology for capturing information based on segmentation and classification of images that account for the quantification of the growth area of the urban perimeter and the determination of the urban areas of the municipality that have had the greatest densification during the last 13 years, the above with the purpose that serves as an input for cadastral operators so that they determine costs and operation time in the field, as was done by De Carvalho (2016) who analyzed the usefulness of images from remote sensors and their relevance for planners and space managers in studies of land cover change, specifically when analyzing the expansion in Rio de Janeiro. This situation indicates the need to improve the planning and execution of updating processes for cadastral purposes and this document proposes the use of one of the remote sensing techniques that has had the greatest intensification of use in recent years, image analysis based on geographic objects. to monitor the urban growth of the municipality of Nemocón, Cundinamarca.
