The company called EMPLOYEE FUND FOR COOPERATION AND SERVICE whose acronym is “COOMSERVI” is a legal entity of private law, non-profit associative company, limited liability, number of associates and variable and unlimited equity, governed by the law and the principles of the solidarity economy, identified by self-management, solidarity, democratic and humanistic practices. COOMSERVI currently has 7,100 associates, located in a group of related companies throughout the country ALIANZA LTDA, DAR AYUDA TEMPORAL S.A, EFECTIVO S.A., GLOBAL MANAGEMENT S.A, SARALUZ LTDA., SERVIENTREGA S.A., SERVIENTREGA WORLD WIDE S.A. SERVITELECOMUNICACIONES LTDA., 360 GRADOS SEGURIDAD, T.R.G. SOCIEDAD COMANDITA, TALENTUM TEMPORAL S.A.S., TIMON S.A., TOTAL SEGUROS LTDA., ZONA FRANCA DE BOGOTA S.A., SAECOM AEROMENSAJERIA, RED INTEGRADORA S.A.S (COOMSERVI, 2016). COOMSERVI with more than 20 years in the market, is an organization that has five main lines of services within its Portfolio such as Credits, Savings, Solidarity, Education and Welfare with which it seeks to improve the quality of life of the associates and their family group, therefore for COOMSERVI it is vital that the operations performed by each of the processes of the organization are efficient and timely, that the service provided is standardized and that the information given to the partners is clear, truthful and consistent with their strategic policies and objectives. Currently, organizations are looking to be at the forefront with the changes that the market and competition bring with them, in order to improve customer perception and thus increase their profits. Therefore, international standards that seek to increase the productivity of organizations have been gaining strength and importance, becoming a plus and added value to win contracts against competition, given that organizations sometimes prioritize those suppliers that have a Certified system so that in this way you guarantee quality products and / or services and in turn increase their satisfaction. For this reason, the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) issued the standard 9001: 2015 which establishes the requirements for the implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System SGC in organizations that manages to increase customer satisfaction through the application Effective system, including processes for system improvement and assurance of compliance with customer requirements, applicable legal and regulatory requirements (ICONTEC, 2015). In addition to this, the standard brings with it other advantages such as improving the productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of the organization, customer trust and the ease of finding new opportunities in the market. However, COOMSERVI does not currently have standardized and documented processes that seek the continuous improvement of its processes, the increase in the satisfaction of its associates and the effective achievement of its strategic objectives, which is why the need to develop a System of Quality Management SGC under the NTC ISO 9001: 2015 in COOMSERVI and thus contribute to its strategic-competitive position in the market. The development of the Quality Management System for COOMSERVI will include the study and descriptive diagnosis of the organization based on its knowledge in order to reach more objective conclusions and the necessary documentation for all the processes of the Quality Management System.
