Resumen
An appropriate collection of information in field work constitutes a fundamental pillar in the process of construction of geological mapping. The completeness, hierarchy and disposition of the information depending on the organization, allows to spatialize in ananalogous way the geographic data (faults, folds, samples, dip, lithology) of different geological stations of the Sinú - San Jacinto Basin; the capture, registration and maintainability of the data captured in an analogous way can incur or cause losses or errors in the information delivered. According to the above, the management of geographic information captured and recorded by the field commissions of the Hydrocarbon Directorate of the Colombian Geological Survey (SGC), does not have versatile tools that allow the visualization and integration of the geological information collected, this infers that the information is analyzed independently with different geographic tools that may hinder the articulation of professional concepts, as well as the usability and accessibility to the information.According to this need, the development of a geographic web viewer "GEOCAMP"was projected as a spatial representation tool with navigation, visualization, consultation and download of geological data through a consolidated spatial database. The execution of the geovisor was based on an incremental model with its respective formulation, design and development stages, where the functional and non-functional requirements were identified, as well as the business rules; a web map server (Geoserver), a database engine such as PostgreSQL, Apache as application server, Heron MC as framework web client and Power BI as desktop client for the representation of dashboards were implemented.
