Abstract

In order to develop and implement an environmental awareness in the National Superintendence of Health that leads to sustainable development, a series of activities aimed at fulfilling this objective were implemented, activities of which the entity's Environmental Management Subsystem is in charge. The National Superintendence of Health within the framework of compliance with the environmental regulations required by the state implements the NTC-ISO 14001 standard in order to be able to control and / or mitigate the impacts generated by the development of the processes led to out in the entity and comply with legal requirements. For the implementation of an Environmental Management Subsystem, the process of updating and verifying the entity's legal environmental requirements is an important process in order to comply with the provisions of NTC-ISO 14001-2015
