Estudio multitemporal de la deforestación en el bosque municipal de San Sebastián de Mariquita-Tolima, usando imágenes satelitales landsat 5, 7 y 8

Abstract

The project was developed in Mariquita municipal forest area, which is located in the north of the department of Tolima, during the periods (1998, 2001 and 2015). To develop the objectives in a satisfactory way, there were three digital image processing techniques. The first one was the main components; secondly unsupervised classification, and finally the supervised classification; These techniques were carried out to the three multispectral images under study; in order to find the area of ​​coverage that was selected when the processing techniques were performed. To validate which processing technique was the best. The kappa's statistic was carried out, to finally develop a mathematical model that allows to identify the behavior of the forest area under study.
