Actualización y optimización de base de datos de obstáculos en aeródromos de Colombia

Abstract

Topographic knowledge contributes to a large extent to the development of different projects that involve the use of coordinates and heights in various areas on the earth, which for the development of this work will have a focus on airport areas, where different objects are located on the limiting surfaces of obstacles and outside of these, in that context, Specific geoid and reference models must be taken into account in order to provide accuracy and quality in the data when presenting the information, for the development of this internship, the data collected will have a coordinate model of the WGS84 type and a reference system of the EGM96 type. Taking into account the above, it is worth mentioning that not all the information provided is exposed in these models, so it is imperative to correctly update and optimize the database of obstacles provided, in order to obtain uniformity in the information in addition to providing accuracy in the data and a detailed analysis of the same so that finally the results obtained serve as a supply for the correct operability in the aerodromes.
