El pasado que añoro, el futuro que ansío

Abstract

In this degree work, an attempt is made to explore the two mental disorders that afflict humanity from the first half of the 20th century to the present day. On the one hand, there is depression, which is characterized by the loss of interest in some aspects of community life, the presence of feelings related to a lack of motivation when rethinking past events and circumstances. On the other hand, as a companion there is anxiety; related to the feeling of uncertainty, situations of confinement due to the increased loss of identity and autonomy. In this way the title of this work is born; yearning for a past and feeling uncertainty about the future. Their own experiences are related as a substrate or starting point for the production of a series of stories, where fiction will make a therapeutic end or end (catharsis) through artistic expression that communicates possible worlds.
