Resumen
This project involves the analysis and study of phase changes in carbon steel known as SAE / AISI 1045, to identify the microstructural effects that presents the material to be heat treated, and then be exposed to an impingement erosion test solid particles guided by the ASTM G76 standard. Heat treatments were performed intercritical temperatures, which were 770 ° C before being cooled in water at room temperature was also contractions relief material to bring it back to a certain temperature of 550 ° C at different times. To review the results of the above treatments she underwent a process of both optical as well as electronic metallography, this to ensure that the phase change is in the material studied The erosion test is performed using the standard test method disclosed in the above standard, and this is where by loss of mass in each of the samples is determined which is the best phase behavior that comes from the treatments.
