Resumen
In this research work, the conceptions on ethics of the ninth grade students in secondary school are interpreted as meaning structures, which are constructed by the interaction in the different spaces of socialization that they have experienced through their vital experience in their families, school, and other spaces such as soccer schools, religious groups and environmental groups. These conceptions allow them to analyze their environment and everyday conflicts, making it possible to accept or reject their own actions and those of others under the moral values they carry. However, in the classroom, peer interactions hinder the ethical action that leads to the use of speeches that are not consistent with their practices generating a concern for the role of teaching social sciences and ethics in school, and the characteristics that conceptions of ethics of young people have.
