Resumen
Atmósferas is the product of some reflections that I have considered during my training as a composer and as a performer regarding improvisation. As an electric guitarist, I have performed in rock, blues, and especially jazz bands, genres in which improvisation is an indispensable requirement both in the structure and in the form of the piece. It is common in these styles to include one or more sections for a soloist to improvise, introducing, to some extent, a degree of randomness. This is what led me to think of a piece based on improvisation and the randomness it produces. In this paper we will talk about aleatoric music, improvisation in music, how it acquires coherence and how it varies according to the context. I will address the role of the performer as a generator of randomness. Finally, I will make a short exposition of the work, showing the different phases of the composition from the structure and the form.
