Proyecto de formulación y evaluación de un sistema productivo agrícola y forestal para el predio Los Arrayanes

Abstract

Agroforestry has allowed generating development alternatives for the agricultural and livestock sector, relieving deforestation and ecosystem degradation issues due to the traditional handling of the sectors. The project arises as one of the alternatives framed in the framework of the pilot project “Parque Ambiental – Los Arrayanes”, located in the municipality of Jesus Maria, department of Santander, with which it seeks to guarantee financial sustainability for the or the conservation, preservation and rehabilitation activities of the other areas of the property that are intended to be developed, thus making these alternatives visible as viable options for producers. To this end, three alternatives of agroforestry models, consisting of an agricultural component, a forestry component and a beekeeping one, were formulated with the owners of the macro project; technical, legal, market and financial studies were developed that allowed determining the prefeasibility of these alternatives. Subsequently, the alternative that obtained the best results in the prefeasibility was selected and with this the corresponding feasibility study was carried out, this model corresponds to the one composed of Coffee Walnut, coffee and the apicultural component.
