Resumen
The project is developed at the La Victoria headquarters of the IED El Hato, located in a rural area of the municipality of Choachí where most of the students are linked to peasant work from an early age. From this work carried out by the students, the question arises: how to redefine that knowledge that students already must use it as a tool for teaching natural sciences? And it is proposed as a general objective: resignify the knowledge and daily practices of young farmers by co-creating audiovisual material that can be used as material for teaching science. First, students were made aware of the importance of peasant work for society, and they were asked to identify the relationship between the work they carry out with natural science topics, and then capture this in a video. During the elaboration of the videos and analyzing the final result, we were able to conclude that the young farmers, despite the difficulties of the rural areas of the country, are capable of learning, through practice, to handle technological tools and to relate the knowledge of the natural sciences with the work of the field, also managing to give a new meaning to their daily life, finding in it a constant source of knowledge production that they can share with their other classmates and with the teachers of the institution.
