Bases metodológicas para la implementación de las herramientas de ecología industrial en la productora de panela Villa Nueva ubicada en la vereda San Roque del municipio de San José de Pare (Boyacá)

Abstract

The production of “Panela” is one of the most important economic actitivies of the country, nevertheless, in its production process generates negative environmental impacts additionally it presents inefficiencies in the use of raw material, supplies, energy, craft practices, and low technological development, among other issues. From the perspective of environmental administrator, it aims provide solutions to this new kind of challenges through new paradigms as Industrial ecology; conformed by different kind of diagnostic, management, analysis, strategic formulation and evaluation instruments it appears as a miraculous and strategic answer, whose premise is rethink all the industrial processes to a cyclic and cleanest model of production, mimicking the functioning of natural ecosystems. It also integrates aspects as cleaner production, industrial symbiosis, eco efficiency and strategic formulation, thus can be determined strategies focused on improving environmental, social and economic conditions. While it is presented as an alternative to solve the problems of this agroindustrial sector, it is necesary to determine methodological bases for aplication of industrial ecology instruments in this organization: Factory “Villa Nueva” located in the town of San Roque municipality San Jose de Pare (Boyaca).
