Entre realidad y ficción. Estudio sobre ficción televisiva, producción y recepción transmedia

Abstract

With the development of the project, the perceptions of TV fiction, reception processes and transmedia production have been explored around the 2 most watched shows in Colombia in 2014 and 2015: Diomedes, el cacique de la junta and La selección 2. The study was developed from a diagnostic exploratory approach while being aware of the phenomenon of communication, education and culture. It involves a mixed design in which languages, statements, its meanings and purpose were analyzed. The presence of online shows, social media, other massive means of communication and the dynamics that were created between the producer and the audience were also taken into account. Based on the usage of these devices, the way these TV productions influence the formation of senses, imaginaries and representations were established. They contribute to shape stereotypes, behavior patterns, values that idealize public figures and ways of life. Moreover it was determined that despite the presence of fiction in different media and platforms, it is not possible to talk about transmedia TV, because the productions are not designed and constructed within the parameters and dynamics that involve transmediation.
