Resumen
In this study, the design of an experimental, biological and environmental station in the Palma de Cera Natural Reserve in the municipality of la Vega, Cundinamarca is presented. It is projected as a site for research, environmental education, landscape planning at the local level and data collection and cooperation strategies between peers and interested entities where services are offered to university students, professionals and others interested in the development of environmental studies and related, for their development either directly in the ecosystem of the Natural Reserve or in one of the reserves surrounding the municipality. Firstly, information will be collected on sustainable construction and appropriate technologies that can be applied in the design of the project with all its phases within the framework of sustainability and responsible tourism. Additionally, the calculation of the load capacity for the reserve, discussion of results with the administration to evaluate feasibility. Next, the theoretical construction of the station will be carried out (work plan, management, research program), where the equipment and infrastructure will be proposed, as well as the development of a promotion strategy for the services that will be provided, allowing the establishment of future a network of local biological stations that can share the data and results generated at the different stations existing at the local level, as well as the possible creation of a physical biological corridor resulting from interest in natural reserves surrounding the station.
