Resumen
This research focuses on the study of narrative, understood as a process of producing content that allows identify and characterize the different socio-emotional relationships, contexts and issues that happen in the daily experiences of students. Some theoretical considerations on youth, language and culture will help to understand how someone develops its knowledge from experience, his / her relation with technology and the role of the media in the construction of subjective thought. Then, this also demands from school to diversify situations learning, for instance, the proposal called “The city and its urban issues”, which proposes a teaching sequence to integrate text production and photography with the socio- environmental problems. It can be concluded that recognizing youth culture and promote its forms of expression from different perspectives in the world today is a chance for the school to find their purpose in society.
