Resumen
The regulatory center of urgencies and emergencies of Bogota is the agency responsible for providing care for health incidents that occur in the city, which are attended by telephone counseling or care with an emergency vehicle (ambulance), the behavior of the system is influenced by a large number of variables that need to be analyzed for understanding, knowledge generation and identification of areas for improvement. The present work addresses the comparative study between two temporal moments of study, the first framed in the two years prior to the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic (2018 and 2019) and the second during the pandemic (year 2020 and 2021), for this purpose the system is characterized and by means of clustering techniques and geospatial analysis techniques the comparative between the two moments of study is performed, which allows identifying the changes in the behavior of the incidents and the care that was provided. The project is expected to deepen the knowledge of the Emergency Medical Systems -EMS, its incidence at times of high demand and thus be able to generate useful information for the development of other projects focused on improvement or for strategic decision making.
